Before & After
Civil Engineering Recruitment
Recruitment is a tough industry, and smaller agencies often find themselves up against larger ones with more consultants and bigger client lists. Big companies dominate job boards, leaving smaller agencies struggling to compete. LinkedIn is also oversaturated with recruiters searching for roles and candidates. These days, both candidates and employers want quick and easy access to job info online. Temporary workers, in particular, like to follow agency websites to stay up to date with available jobs, and candidates generally prefer receiving clear job specs. Employers also want to work with agencies that can properly market their vacancies. That’s why having a great-looking website is so important – the better it looks, the better the impression you’ll make.
Design Goal
The Design Process
01
Use Case
Mole Recruitment’s old website was basically just an online business card. It was outdated and didn’t offer much value to visitors.
The goal was to build a new website that would build trust with both candidates and employers, allowing candidates to easily search and apply for jobs while providing a platform for employers to submit and advertise their open positions. The new website would also showcase Mole Recruitment’s unique strengths and specializations, and create dedicated service and industry pages to improve search engine rankings (SEO)
02
Design Objective
The design aimed for a modern, industrial aesthetic, combining minimalist lines with bold color accents. The career page and job search features are designed to be user-friendly and encourage action, whether it’s applying for a job or contacting the company for more information. We adopted a conversion-focused approach, guiding users through the website with clear and concise service descriptions, supported by strong visuals and prominent calls to action throughout.
03
Outcome
User-Centric Design: Placing utmost importance on user experience, the design prioritized intuitive navigation, well-structured content, and simple to understand call to action. In additional an interactive quote generator was added.
Brand Identity: The design seamlessly incorporated the client’s refreshed brand identity, including a new logo and tagline. Consistent branding throughout the website underscored the professionalism of the business and set it apart from competitors.
Engagement and Interaction: To encourage engagement and drive conversions, we integrated prominent banners and multiple calls to action throughout the website. We strategically placed key features like the careers page and robust search/filtering functionality, making it easy for candidates to find their ideal roles
